Participation in the BAV Altholztag 2024 in Frankfurt
On 4th September 2024, we were delighted to take part in the Altholztag hosted by the German Federal Association of Waste Wood Processors and Recyclers (“Bundesverband der Altholzaufbereiter und -verwerter” BAV e.V.) in Frankfurt. This annual event is one of the most important industry gatherings in Germany for companies and professionals specialising in the processing and utilisation of waste wood. The event was held in the historic and impressive Palmengarten Society House, providing an inspiring setting for the presentations and discussions.
The event focused on the latest trends, developments, and challenges in the waste wood industry. Experts from various fields presented innovative solutions and discussed technological advancements. This year, particular emphasis was placed on sustainability and efficient resource use – topics that are also of central importance to us at DI MATTEO Group.
DI MATTEO Group as an Active Participant
We had the pleasure of actively contributing to the event. Dr.-Ing. Luigi Di Matteo and Mr. Mathias Rzadki delivered a technical presentation, showcasing our innovative technologies for waste wood processing. Special attention was given to our recent developments in mechanical and thermal processing, which enhance the efficiency and resource conservation of the recycling process. Our solutions were well received and generated positive feedback from the attending professionals.
Networking and Exchanges
In addition to the informative presentations, Altholztag offered an excellent opportunity for networking. Following the talks, a social evening was held in the atmospheric setting of the Goethe University’s Campus Westend. Around 200 BAV e.V. members gathered to engage in valuable conversations and forge new connections in a relaxed atmosphere. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to maintain existing relationships and establish new partnerships.
Looking Ahead to the Future of the Waste Wood Industry
The BAV Altholztag 2024 once again demonstrated that the waste wood industry is facing exciting and significant changes. The increasing demand for sustainable solutions and more efficient recycling technologies are key topics that will shape the industry’s development in the coming years. For DI MATTEO Group, it is crucial to work continuously with our partners and customers on new solutions to actively shape the future of old wood utilisation.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to BAV e.V. for the excellent organisation and to all participants for the stimulating discussions and constructive collaboration.
