As part of the "Brillen weltweit" campaign, the Lions Club Beckum-Ahlen, Rotary Club Ahlen, Inner Wheel Club Ahlen-Münsterland, and many other dedicated supporters collected 7812 pairs of glasses, which are now on their way to some of the world's poorest countries.

The DI MATTEO Group from Beckum played a key role in ensuring that this valuable donation was safely transported to Koblenz. From there, the glasses will continue their journey to those in need, giving people the chance to see, read, and fully engage in life once again.

Thanks to this initiative, 7812 individuals will gain a new perspective – a significant step towards improving their quality of life and their opportunities for a more independent future. A special thank you goes to Ilse Rottmann, whose unwavering dedication has been instrumental in driving this project forward. Without her tireless efforts, this initiative would not have been possible on such a scale.
